Winter Reading Challenge 2025: Be a Reading Machine
All ages–kids, teens, and adults–are welcome to participate in the Winter Reading Challenge 2025: Be a Reading Machine!
The Winter Reading challenge takes place January 1-31 on Beanstack. Register today and start logging your minutes on January 1.
From Jan. 1 to Jan. 31, Kent County Public Library is participating in “Be a Reading Machine,” a Winter Reading Challenge sponsored by Beanstack and Baker & Taylor. We challenge our community to read at least 100,000 minutes during the month of January. Use the Beanstack mobile app or KCPL's Beanstack site to track your reading. If you're new to Beanstack, you can set up a free account using your KCPL library card.
Thousands of other libraries and schools across the nation are joining the Beanstack Winter Reading Challenge. Top-performing libraries and schools have the chance to earn special prizes! The more you read and log, the better the chances are that KCPL will win a prize! Happy reading!
