Thank you for wanting to become a KCPL sponsor! While public funding provides the basics of library service, sponsorships create the ability to go above and beyond with special programming and initiatives for the community. Throughout the year, library sponsorship opportunities are available to support different initiatives, including the annual all-ages summer reading program. Current sponsorship opportunities are below. Current Sponsorship Opportunities:
Kent County Public Library’s summer reading program is an all-ages annual community celebration of reading that incorporates literacy and community activities with 8-weeks of special events and programming. It is a free initiative designed to create excitement about books, reading, and using the library.
The 2026 summer reading theme “Unearth a Story” will feature programming related to paleontology, archeology, local history, and more!
Sponsorship Tiers
KCPL has created sponsorship opportunities for businesses and individuals who would like to support the library’s ability to bring in special presenters and to offer unique elevated enrichment programs.
Trilobite $50-99
Plesiosaur $100-249
Pterodactyl $250-499
Tyrannosaurus Rex $500+
Sponsorship Acknowledgement
Sponsors will be acknowledged throughout the summer in a variety of ways. We will say thank you:
- Letter of acknowledgement for each sponsor
- Special recognition of sponsors at summer events
- List of sponsors by tier in newsletters, on the website, and on in-library signage
- Logos of T. Rex tier sponsors will be displayed

The intake form must be completed by April 17, 2026 and payment is due by April 30, 2026 via cash, check or credit card.
