Study Pods
KCPL has study pods available for use by adults for quiet study and virtual meetings or appointments. The 2-person study pod at the Chestertown Branch can also be used for 1-on-1 meetings.
Each pod includes sound-dampening materials that help keep conversations private and limit ambient noise; a fan that circulates and replaces air every 60 seconds; and automatic motion sensor lighting.
Pods can be reserved up to 7 days in advance for a period of up to 2 hours a day. To make a reservation, please use the online scheduler below or contact the library directly. View our Study Pod Policy (pdf).
Note: If you wish to reserve a study pod online for the full 2 hours, you must create two separate 1 hour appointments.
