February is Love Your Library Month!
This year, KCPL is spotlighting the incredible local talent you can find on our shelves!
KCPL is proud to present special displays at all its locations that showcase the many books written by Eastern Shore authors that you can borrow from the library. From children's books to explorations of geopolitical subjects, graphic novels to romance stories, there's a wealth to explore.
Local authors, we want to see more of you and your work in our library!
If you have a book you'd like added to the library's collection, we welcome direct donations of books from Eastern Shore authors and suggestions of books to consider for purchase.
Before donating or suggesting, please review KCPL's Materials Selection & Collection Maintenance Policy for details about criteria for materials in the collection and other information.
To donate books, please call 410.778.3636 or stop by any KCPL location to talk with staff about the process.
To suggest a purchase, please complete the form and indicate that you are an Eastern Shore author.
If you are interested in participating in a book signing event during National Library Week (April 19-25), please fill out the interest form by 5pm on Saturday, February 28.
If you would like to offer a book talk program or writing workshop, please submit a proposal.
