Most materials will automatically renew on their due date as long as the materials are not requested to fill a hold. Automatic renewals may occur up to three times if the materials continue to not be requested to fill a hold. eMaterials cannot be renewed, but can be re-borrowed if available or re-requested if on hold for someone else.
