KCPL offers regular technology classes for patrons. You may also come by the Reference Desk at any time with basic technology or computer questions. In addition, a limited number of one-on-one appointments are available with our Reference Associate. To make an appointment, please contact us.
Please see our Calendar for more information.
Digital Drop-In is typically offered at 3pm on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at the Chestertown branch.
Join us to ask your technology questions in a casual and supportive small group setting. Bring your tablet, laptop, or other device and any questions you have about how it works or how to use it to access library resources.
Computer Connections is an occasional series of hands-on, beginner-level classes designed to make using technology a comfortable and positive experience. Topics rotate based on interest, and we will repeat topics periodically.
Past topics include:
- Introduction to Computers
- Introduction to the Internet
- Introduction to Microsoft Word
- Introduction to Email
- Introduction to Apps
Each class participant will work on a library-provided laptop. Space is limited to 10 patrons for most classes, so registration is required.
If you would like to register for Computer Connections, or suggest a topic for a class, please contact us.
